Further Listening and Final Thoughts
This is it, Dig-Nation. Velvet Underground Month comes to a close. It's been 5 weeks of posts on this fascinating band, and to bring things to an end, I'm going to give a brief overview of some of the music I didn't cover, as well as my closing thoughts on the band and this experience of covering them in depth.

It's time for my final rankings, at least as part of this Velvet Underground Month feature. We've heard all four studio albums, how do the songs shake out, based on my personal preference? Remember, this is subjective and my opinion. It doesn't reflect empirical best, just what I like best. Let's do this one last time.
So it's come to this. The last review of Velvet Underground Month: Loaded, the band's final studio album (with original members at least). We've heard a lot of groundbreaking music from the band to this point. Now it's time to hear them cut loose on their most purely rock and roll record. The answer was to become a dancer, so hold your head up high, baby!
It's Week 3 of Velvet Underground Month. We move onto the band's third record, the eponymous The Velvet Underground. Released in 1969, it finds the band making another significant stylistic jump from their previous work.
