Weekly Roundup: Jun 24 – 30, 2012

It's suddenly been really crazy for me the past few days so this Weekly Roundup is late and it's going to be brief. But it's still awesome, check it out.

-First up is London-via-Harlem rapper Cheikh and his summery jam "Superman."

-One of my favorite videos of recent vintage is this striking and creative clip from the Family Band for "Night Song." Great song, too.

-Here's a really cool instrumental track from Mungolian Jetset called "Toccata."

Grand Resort will have an album out this September and the wistful, nostalgic vibe of track "Night Is Dark" makes me  eager to hear more.

-Keeping it going with delightfully dreamy music, I'm really digging this song "Purple Glow" from Tennessee's Arcadia Gardens.

-We end with another cool video for the song "Space Station Mir," by the adventurous folk act The Turpentine Ray.
