TWD Presents Recap November 2012 Muchmore's

Happy New Year! I wanted to start 2013 by sharing one of the highlights of 2012: the very first "Those Who Dig Presents" show. We had a blast at Muchmore's on November 14th with David Pollack, Palomino, and Oh! My Blackbird and raised more than $200 for Sandy Relief.

If you missed it or you were there and want to relive the magic, check out the slideshow below. Simply click on the first small image and then navigate from there. The evening's photography was by Michael Pina.

While you're looking, why not listen to the great bands that played that night? David Pollack started the night with an acoustic set (you can see some videos here). He recently released the latest version of a tune he played called "What Do I Do?," which was a definite highlight of his lively set. Check out his new website via the link above, like him on Facebook here, and follow on Twitter here.

Palomino took the stage next and Elijah, Pat, and Mike rocked the house. I probably dug their performance of "California Waits" from their self-titled EP that came out in early 2012 most, it was even more epic live. Click through the song to get EP free, their website is above, like them on Facebook here, and follow them on Twitter here.

The final set of the night was a stunning performance by Oh! My Blackbird. They have a great album called Dare Me and played many songs from it that were wonderful, but I think my favorite moment was the performance of their song "Little Bird." Especially how they got the crowd clapping along toward the end, that was very cool. Their website is linked above, you should absolutely buy their album via the link I provided, like them on Facebook here, and follow them on Twitter here.

It was an amazing night and we can't wait for our next show, which is January 18th at Union Hall. It features Los Encantados, Grand Resort, Chase King, and The Soft Collapse. More info here. Hope to see you there! Also, a quick FYI, David Pollack and Oh! My Blackbird will be playing again together January 25th at the Bitter End in Manhattan.

And now for the photos, enjoy! Once again, photography by Michael Pina. Also, the sweet gig poster for the event is on sale for $10 + shipping at our Merch page.
