Nyle – Dundiddit (ft. Fresh Daily & Mic-L)

Just came across the first track off of Nyle's mixtape Trailer, which drops on Friday. You may remember our man Nyle from his stellar reworking of Weezy's "Let the Beat Build" and it's single-take video. This new track keeps the percussion-section-heavy live beats and showcases a rawer side of Nyle's rhymin

Nyle had kind of fallen off my radar after I posted that video but I'm damn glad he caught up to me again. "Dundiddit" has a serious Tribe vibe going on. Those lazy, smooth horns in the background smack of old-school Q-Tip production. And as any reader of Those Who Dig knows, I always give bonus points to hip-hop production with live bands.

Honestly, I didn't expect Nyle to have this fire in him. He's got bravado in spades on this track and he's on the attack for the majority of it (you know, the parts where he's not referencing Pinky & the Brain).
