Lupe Fiasco – Words I Never Said

A new month brings a new Lupe Fiasco track – the second one dropped from his upcoming album, Lasers. I'm a huge Lupe guy, I've listened to both his albums a brazillion times so the 4 years and massively stupid label battles since The Cool have been frustrating. Thank you Jebus, Lasers is finally due out March 8.

"Words I Never Said" has Lupe going aggro and politico all over the mic. Topics are all over the place from the War on Terror, to Glenn Beck, to drug use. He's raging here over a heavily percussive track and a nicely contrasting hook from Skylar Grey. If this is an indication of the sound of the album, I'm on board.
