I can’t believe I have gone so long without ever watching these videos. I’m going to break down the premise for you, and then just leave you to watch and make your own conclusions. The Possum Posse, an Austin Texas based bluegrass band, is at fault here. They basically took a film from the 70s, re-cut it up, and then wrote concept music to accompany the visuals. The result is as awesome as it is hillarious. With no further hesitation I bring you, in four parts, Guy On a Buffalo.
Now if you are like me you are wondering what the hell movie all this is from. I have done a bit of research and found it. It is Buffalo Rider starring Rick Guinn as Buffalo Jones. Here is the actual trailer from that film.
And the plot summary,
In the 1800s Jake Jones finds a buffalo about to be eaten by coyotes. He rescues the buffalo and raises it. He names him Samson. Jones decides to break the buffalo and saddle him. He then becomes the guy ON A buffalo. — IMDB.com
