Cultfever at Music Hall of Williamsburg Tomorrow July 13

Our friends in Cultfever are playing a really cool-sounding show Saturday at Music Hall of Williamsburg. The event is put on by the Filmshop and it's called "Kill Your Darlings." Short films will be screened based on that theme. Before that, H.P. Public Library plays; after is Cultfever, Wild Yaks, and DJ sets. All for only $12! I am pumped about this, it sounds like an awesome evening. I can guarantee Cultfever will be great, I've seen them before. But throw in films, other bands, and a dance party and you got yourself a night not to be missed.

It came out a few weeks ago, but this seems like a good time to share the band's latest music video for the track "Animals" (which is for sale as an orange 7" record). It's animated and it's super cool: very colorful and full of interesting little moments. It toes the line between cute and surreal quite well and fits the vibrancy of the track. I dig the animated renditions of Tamara and Joe, too. Watch it and then come watch short films and Cultfever tomorrow.
