Cultfever and Field Mouse Shows This Week

There are some exciting shows to check out this week, NYC. Two friends of the Dig are playing: Cultfever at Cameo Gallery tonight and Field Mouse at the Rock Shop tomorrow. Both of these bands are amazing live, you best not miss!

Cultfever has been really busy lately, making appearances on websites, radio shows, and even television. Their great song "Strangenecks" from their excellent debut album was in an episode of the MTV show Awkward. They play tonight (9/18) at Cameo Gallery (93 North 6th Street, Brooklyn) with Vensaire and Manicanparty. The doors open at 8:00, the tickets are $8 available here, and it's 21+.

Field Mouse is also gearing up for an exciting autumn. They will be playing during CMJ, and after the spring release of the amazing 7" "You Guys Are Going To Wake Up My Mom" & "Happy," a new 7" is due out next month on Lefse Records. It is for a new song called "How Do You Know?" and I really dig it. It looks like the b-side is going to be "Falling," the Twin Peaks theme. How cool is that? You can check the band out this Wednesday (9/19) at the Rock Shop (249 4th Avenue, Brooklyn). The doors open at 8:00, the tickets are $10 available here, and it's 21+. Check out the new single courtesy of Brooklyn Vegan.
