Atlantic Guitar Quartet Concerts

The Atlantic Guitar Quartet is comprised of four musicians, all alumni of the esteemed Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, that share a desire to perform and promote music by living composers. I am proud to be apart of this ensemble and optimistic for our future endeavors. Moreover, in this series of performances you'll hear music from classical composers who are still living and breathing, and the promotion of this exciting and new music is central in our credo. If you're on this side of the country you should keep your ears and eyes open for the AGQ and take advantage of the oppertunity to support musicians who perfom with passion and an earnest interest in contemporary music. You'll also get to see some prepared guitar work and John Dowland inspired alieatoric improvisation – an unusual and not often performed spectacal I promise!
